Dear Friends,
We hope to find you all in good health and enjoying the start of this New Year.
We write to you with news about of our planning work and the ambitions we have set for the
next fours years in Tanzania. However, first we bring you some news from our friends in the
Central African Republic.
Some of you may have been following the news from the Central African Republic recently of the
terrible situation the people are facing. Following last years downfall of the government, different
groups have again begun fighting, with innocent civilians bearing the worst of the violence.
However, their are signs that the people are not ready to give up their struggle for freedom and
peace. The ATD team in Bangui is still receiving visitors to their courtyard. Georges and Grâce from
Mbongossoua Island were brave enough to use their canoe to cross the river to visit the team.
