Rachel McAdams Rachel McAdams is a Canadian entertainer brought into the world on November 17, 1978, in London, Ontario, Canada. She grew up in St. Thomas in a Protestant household. McAdams initially built up an interest in performing when she was seven years of age. From the age of 12, McAdams partook in Original Kids Theater Company, London creations. In 2001, McAdams made her TV debut in the MTV pilot Shotgun Love Dolls as Beth Swanson, which was recorded during spring break from York University. McAdams hit the ground running early in her career. She landed television roles before she even graduated from university. After performing in a TV pilot that was not picked up for network television (Shotgun Love Dolls, 2001), she was cast in guest appearances in series such as The Famous Jett Jackson (2001) and Earth: Final Conflict (2002).
