tiles, exposed wiring and broken lights and windows were presented on a slide show
at the School of Social Work’s forum
Wednesday.
Social work senior Sharon Newman, the Social
Work Constituency
Council president,
made the presentation about the Social Work Complex’s
physical condition.
The annual meeting
between the school
and students covered a variety of issues, but the greatest concern for some was the
building’s condition.
Social Work Dean Santos Hernández attended the
forum along with representatives from Bursar Services
and the Financial Aid Office.
Most students had questions
for Hernández, and their concerns ranged from building
repair and upkeep to building
and equipment upgrades.
After the slideshow presentation,
Hernández said the
building needs to
be more functional,
