There are many different versions which explain why Steve Jobs decided
to name his company “Apple” and also chose an apple as the symbol of it.
One of them is the one that say that he was keen on the Beatles and he
used the name “Apple” in tribute to the name of their discography.
There are also some senseless versions like the one that says Steve was
eating an apple when he was thinking a name for the company, and that’s
why he chose that name; or the one that affirm that apples were Steve’s
favorite fruit.
Its origin is also linked with Isaac Newton and his theory about gravitation,
which has a lot to do with an apple.
In fact, one of the first logos of the
company was the scientific sat behind a tree.
However, the most reliable version is that a farmer which worked with
Steve, suggested him the name.
