When you buy a live Christmas tree the first thing you want to do when you get it home is place
it in a stand filled with water.
The type of stand you use is important and reservoir stands are considered to be the best ones
that you can use.
Regular tap water is perfectly fine and you do not need to use any type of
specially formulated water solution to place the tree in.
Before you put the tree in the bucket you
will want to cut off about an inch from the base of the tree as this will help the tree absorb the
