your 16 bars, you have a couple of options as to how you are going to write
them.
Option #1 - Write while listening to a beat
This is what I would recommend to be the best option.
Most beats that you
will hear or create follow exact or very similar drumbeats and patterns.
When
you write the verse or verses while listening to the beat, they can fit in very
easily with the different beats that you are listening to.
Another reason that I recommend this option is that if you are listening and writing at the same
time, you can work with your flow, slow it down or speed it up to match the flow.
You can also
play around more with your lines.
You can take a word or phrase and shorten it or stretch it out
over the different beats to get it to sound the way you want it to.
