expanding online music education business by bringing on board Dave Reik as Director of
Marketing and Promotions.

- With over 15 years of marketing
experience, spanning music production, education and publishing, Dave Reik joins
ArtistWorks Inc.
from Penton Media, where he held the position of Director Of Audience
Marketing and Business Development for Mix, Electronic Musician, Remix and Music
Education Technology magazines, as well as their online properties and events.
As a key
member of Penton’s senior team, Dave led the marketing and business development
activity for both the B2B and B2C sectors, launched two new music-related ecommerce
sites, as well as an audio and music membership site.
Previously to Penton, Dave worked in
a variety of marketing positions at Microsoft, PeopleSoft and Network
