When you have done all the preparation for making a career change , it s time to
create your personal action plan.
The purpose for this is to map out your route from
where you are now to where you want to be.
The first thing to do is to write your end goal at the top of a large sheet of paper.
Put it
in the middle of the page so that you can write several lists before it, in a pattern
resembling a family tree.
You then create three branches to your tree, one for experience, one for training and
one for money.
Ask yourself where you need to be in your career just before you
achieve your final goal.
So for example, if your goal is to be a top executive, the step directly before might be a
middle management position in the same company or industry and you might need
three years experience there before moving to a senior post.
There may be a
qualification that you need, such as an MBA and the source of fun
