BUSINESS MATHEMATICS

Introduction
The purpose of this course is to help students understand concepts covered in business
mathematics to solve problems and also to provide applications on the arithmetics ,
statistics and pre-calculus , adapted to the demand of students with the average level on
mathematical knowledge and tools.
The subjects considered in the business mathematics course would be described not
only as mathematical methods but also as applications handled by softwares .
The
lecturer s intention is to explain the calculating principles , to deal with the formulas ,
validity of the methods and mathematical tools in business .
There are many examples
that are given to illustrate the use of formulas and apply the mathematical models to
the reality .
