Being an eco-tourist
on the camp site
You are very welcome to theTarn, where we hope you will enjoy
exploring the architectural heritage of our cities, the character
of our villages, and the rich variety of our landscapes with
their natural habitats.
However, each of these very attractive
environments is dependent on a balance which can all too
easily be upset.
The département of the Tarn has therefore
taken steps to develop sustainable tourism.
Here are some simple ways in which we can all help
when we’re on a camp site.
•
Not using the car when remaining within the camp site, but
choosing to walk or cycle.
• Not wasting water, by turning taps off as soon as possible
and letting the camp site staff know if there is a leak.
•
Using biodegradable washing products (shampoo, soap in
preference to shower gel.
.
.
).
•
Not lighting fires or barbecues, except in the areas specifically
intended for this purpose.
